The SHOW ASSIGNMENT list, indicates which classes are performing in each of our FOUR recital shows on Sunday, December 11th. There are FOUR shows that day: 10:00 am, 12:30 pm, 3:30 pm and 6:00 pm, to accommodate the size of our program.  Many classes perform in multiple shows so please check the list carefully.  Please add your family’s shows into your schedule & determine which show you would like to purchase tickets for when they go on sale on Friday, November 11 (see below for more detail on tickets). We do our very best to accommodate families where their dancers take multiple classes, or if they have multiple children who are performing, to have at least one show where they can see their children perform all of their dances, meaning parents only have to purchase tickets to one show, even though their children might perform in multiple shows.

  • This year’s recitals will be held on Sunday, December 11th, at the Wolf Performance Hall, 251 Dundas Street at the Central Library in Citi Plaza.
  • Dress rehearsals will be held the day before the shows, also at the Wolf Performance Hall on Saturday, December 10.  This schedule will be emailed out next week.
  • Friday, December 9th will be the last day of regular classes at the studio in first term.

A friendly reminder of our recital attendance policy: dancers who miss 5 or more of their last 10 classes, OR both of the last 2 classes leading up to our Winterlude shows, will not be eligible to perform onstage with their class.  Each class learns a routine unique to their class, so while you are welcome to continue to makeup missed classes where availability permits, makeup classes do not count towards recital attendance eligibility.  We need dancers attending their regular class time to learn their routines.

Dancers will be wearing their classroom uniform on stage, unless their teacher has informed you otherwise.  Please ensure your dancer’s uniform is in good repair, and that tights are not stained or have and holes/tears.  If you need a fresh pair of tights for the show, we have stock available for purchase at the studio from the front desk.

All students are asked to wear a proper, ‘dancers bun’ to their rehearsal and show day unless their haircut is VERY short (above the ears and off the neck).  No idea what a dancer’s bun is? Check out this great how-to video: https://youtu.be/zUC3WzQrT6s.  You can purchase a bun kit for $5.00 at the desk if you need supplies.

All of our performances are professionally videotaped, and a digital download is shared with all participants after the editing process has been completed.  Personal video recording (and photography) is not permitted in the theatre. We thank you in advance for adhering to this policy, which allows all members of our audience to enjoy the show. It is both distracting and inconsiderate when people try to take their own personal videos or pictures.

Performances are an integral part of our school’s program, however participation is optional, so if your dancer will NOT be participating in our Winterlude shows this year for any reason, kindly let us know by email as soon as possible, so we can let their teacher(s) know.

Tickets go ON SALE for our Winterlude shows this Friday, November 11th @ 7am at www.onstagedirect.com/northlondonTo ensure that every family can see their child perform onstage, when tickets go on sale, there will be a limit of 2 tickets per family.  This limit will be in place for two weeks, until Friday, November 25th.  On November 25th, all remaining seats for each show will be available for anyone to purchase, if they would like more than 2 tickets for their family.

We highly recommend that you purchase your tickets in advance. Seating is assigned. Adult tickets are $21 each and Child/Senior tickets are $16 each.  Children 2 years of age & younger do not require a ticket to sit on their caregiver’s lap.  Dancers performing in the show do not require a ticket because they will be backstage for the duration of the show.  We can’t wait to see all of their smiling faces on stage!
