COVID-19 Precautions

While London remains under the provincewide Stay-at-Home order, there will be no ‘in person’ dance classes at NLDC until at least June 2nd. Our wonderful teaching faculty will continue to come to work from the studio to teach their scheduled classes at their regular times via our virtual classroom on Zoom. This means that all registered students will continue to take their classes remotely until it is safe to welcome everyone back to the studio in person. We will update all our dance families again as soon as we have received the news that in person lessons can resume.

We aren’t letting the extension of the stay-at-home order get us down! We have 4 WEEKS OF FUN planned to finish off the dance term. Please remember to wear something you/your child can still SAFELY dance when wearing something theme-related. Our final Virtual Parent Viewing week of the season will mark the end of our academic term, the last week of classes, June 6-12.

Summer Classes & Camps

Registration is still OPEN for all families to enroll in our Summer 2021 mini sessions of dance classes!

July & August (register by the month)

  • 3 & 4 Year Old Ballet (July full, limited spots in August)
  • 5 & 6 Year Old Ballet
  • 7-10 Year Old Acro
  • Adult Open Ballet (Tuesdays full in July & August, limited spots on Thursdays in August)
  • Adult Open Progressing Ballet Technique
Summer Camps Update, North London Dance Centre, London ON

We also have three weeks of summer camp running in August for children:

🤩 August 9-13 – Minion Week
🦄 August 16-20 – Magical Unicorn Week
❄️ August 23-27 – Frozen Fun Week

Our summer camps are for children Ages 4-10 and are filling up! Children will take a variety of classes each day, including ballet, jazz, hip hop, creative movement, stretch & strength and more! We also have time allotted for crafts and games. Camp runs from 9 am – 4 pm each day. Drop off after 8:30 am, and pick up by 4:30 pm are included in the camp price of $44 per day. No half day camp available. Full days only, but you can select individual full days. Payment in full is due with registration. Dancers bring their own peanut-free snacks and lunch.

PA Day Camp – Fri. June 11

We are still planning on running our mermaid-themed PA Day Camp on Friday, June 11th, pending government approval. Join us for a day full of mermaid-themed dancing, crafts, games, and FUN for children in JK to Grade 5! $44 for the day, full day only. Register using the parent portal under EVENTS. If for any reason we are not permitted to run the PA camp, registered families will have the option of either a full refund or credit on file.

Positive Note

Despite the provincial lockdown, 89% of our students have continued to show up & give their best in their virtual dance classes during in the past month. Woah!

As always, we thank you for trusting us with your family’s dance education. We know you have other choices, and we are glad you’re with us. Your support throughout this challenging season has meant the world to all of us.

We are finalizing all student placements for the 2021-2022 season over the next week, and you will start to see this information in your parent portal as we work our way through the alphabet. As soon as that task has been completed, we will be emailing out our Fall 2021 schedule to all active students! We’re so excited to share it with you early, in hopes that you will continue to keep us in your family’s plans next season.
