Jennifer Arnold
Jennifer is one of our wonderful adult dance students and has been dancing for around 18 years. She takes classes in ballet, tap, and progressing ballet technique.
Q: Why did you start dancing?
A: As a child I just thought it was fun. As I got to my early teens I enjoyed being in competitive dance. Performing on stage in costumes and mastering a routine the best I could with my dance friends was appealing. I came back to dance once my daughter was grown as I always regretted giving it up. One of the best decisions I ever made. It allows me to put my day away and just enjoy movement and learning.
Q: What is your favourite part about dancing at North London Dance Centre?
A: I guess if I had to choose just one thing it is the teachers. You can always count on a well thought out and fun class that is designed to help all students progress. They make you feel right at home in the studio.
Q: What are your future goals with dance?
A: To keep dancing right up until I am old and grey and then keep dancing. As well, I hope to someday perform at a studio showcase in a beautiful costume.
Q: What has dancing at North London Dance Centre taught you?
A: Dancing at NLDC has taught me that you can continue to dance at any age and can continue to keep learning. As well, the teachers and management keep the studio environment positive and smooth functioning so you can just enjoy dancing!
