Rachel Gelz
Rachel is 14 years old and has been dancing for 2 years. She is currently taking ballet, pointe, and contemporary. Rachel also volunteers in our children’s program as a class assistant.
Q: Why did you start dancing?
A: I started dancing to NLDC because I wanted to try something new. I’ve always had an interest in dance, so my mom signed me up for teen ballet. I never thought I’d come this far, and have enjoyed it since.
Q: What is your favourite part about dancing at North London Dance Centre?
A: The environment. Everyone is accepting and caring and I feel like I’ve been coming here all my life.
Q: What are your future goals with dance?
A: I would like to further my skills in ballet and pointe, and one day attend the National Ballet School or another ballet school.
Q: What has dancing at North London Dance Centre taught you?
A: Dancing at NLDC has taught me that you can accomplish anything you put your mind to.
