COVID-19 Precautions

We continue to be a mask-friendly environment and encourage mask wearing in our facility, especially while in the lobby. Mask wearing is not mandatory.

Small Business of the Year Finalists

Did you hear the news? North London Dance Centre is a finalist for Small Business of the Year in London! We find out who the winner is next week. Thank you for your support.

PA Day Camp Registration is OPEN

Registration is NOW OPEN for our PA Day Dance Camps for the academic season!

  • November 18 – My Little Pony
  • January 20 – Trolls
  • May 19 – Descendants
  • June 2 – The Little Mermaid
  • June 30 – Snow White

These are for children in JK-Grade 5, $47/day, and camp runs from 9 am – 4 pm. Drop off starts at 8:30 am & pick up ends at 4:30 pm. Register using your parent portal and selecting EVENTS.

Virtual Parent Viewing Week #1

We invite parents to attend their dancer’s class(es) virtually from October 19-25. We will email parents on how to join our virtual classroom next month.

Young Company

Proudly introducing The Young Company of North London Dance Centre for 2022-2023: Anna Archibald, Ari Burgess, Isabelle Chandler, Nicole Jamieson, Ainsley Morgan, Mia Riccardi, and Jenna Russell.

The first choreographer working with our Young Company this season is… Ms. Ruth Barrett! We are SO thrilled to welcome Ms. Ruth back to the studio. She has finished her chemotherapy treatments and is happy to be working with our dancers again.

Buns are Best & Uniforms

A friendly reminder that all ballet & acro students are asked to wear a proper, ‘dancers bun’ to their classes, unless their haircut is very short. No idea what a dancer’s bun is? Check out one of these great how-to videos:

Wearing your hair in a bun ensures that students can concentrate on what is most important in class – learning and developing a love for dance! You can purchase a bun kit for $5.00 at the desk if you need supplies.

A friendly reminder that all children in our Dance Development to Level 13 classes should also be wearing their uniform to class each week. The two dancewear stores that generally keep our uniform in stock are Dancewear Plus and Pointe & Pick. We are aware that there is currently a shortage in the teal suits and they are expected to arrive soon.

Social Media

We encourage all our parents and students who have social media accounts to like/follow us on our Facebook and/or Twitter accounts @NLondonDance or on Instagram @northlondondancecentre. We use these avenues to post reminders of important upcoming dates as well as studio info. In case of any inclement weather closures, we would also post that information there.

Congratulations & Thanks

It’s been a baby-filled summer & fall at NLDC! Big congratulations to Ms. Kelsey who welcomed baby boy Oliver last week, and Ms. Kaitlin who welcomed baby girl Milena in July.
